A dedicated Restaurant Manager and passionate hospitality professional, Katie Mulliss brings over a decade of knowledge to her role at The Hand & Flowers since she joined in 2009. Always ready with a warm welcome for guests, she is responsible for maintaining the exceptionally high standards of the two Michelin-starred restaurant in Marlow, founded by Tom Kerridge.

Katie worked her way up from waitressing to become Head Hostess in 2012 meeting and greeting guests, hosting the bar and training other hosts. In 2014, Katie was promoted to Assistant Restaurant Manager where she ensured the smooth running of service and worked with her team to maximise the customer experience.

In 2017 Katie was promoted to Restaurant Manager where she oversees not only the day to day running of the pub, but also the 15 bedrooms. Her role encompasses recruitment and induction of all new staff, rota organisation, training and development of the front of house team, as well as the management of GP’s for the bar and looks after the businesses social media accounts.

A champion of the hospitality industry, Katie is thrilled to be a ‘Choose Hospitality’ ambassador, commentating, “I’m really looking forward to bringing a voice to front of house and helping to showcase what a great career it is and what makes the hospitality industry so special.”
