Studied at Kendal College and is currently a pastry chef at Michelin starred ‘The Cottage in the Wood’ in the Lake District:
‘Winning the competition has given me the confidence to move forward in my career after college, as well as being something really positive in a difficult year. When I won, it took a while to sink in, but it was very exciting! The best part of the experience was the final day of the competition where I saw everything that I had been working on during the week come together. To those who are considering entering a competition I say- just have a go. Don’t worry if you don’t feel good enough, just have a shot and put as much as you can into it.’
